Er. Krishna Prasad Nepal is an Electrical Engineer who graduated with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus, Nepal. He has fifteen years of experience in engineering academics and in the operation and management of electricity utilities and projects.
He has worked as General Manager of Salleri Chialsa Electricity Co. Ltd. (SCECO), an electric utility and public company undertaken by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the Swiss Embassy, and local people, responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. He has also worked as Head of Department during the establishment of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Khwopa College of Engineering, affiliated with Tribhuvan University.
He serves as a visiting faculty member at Cosmos College of Management and Technology and Everest Engineering College, affiliated with Pokhara University. He has also worked as a resource person and consultant for various training programs related to the operation and management of electricity utilities and projects for national and international organizations, including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC), and Winrock International.
