Neeva Dahal is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in transportation engineering, infrastructure development, and engineering education. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering with first-class honors from Kurukshetra University, India, and completed her Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Transportation Engineering at the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus, in 2024.
Ms. Dahal began her professional career in 2017 as a Junior Engineer in an OXFAM-funded program and was promoted to Senior Engineer in 2018. In 2020, she transitioned into academia as a Technical Instructor under the Government of Nepal. She joined Nepal’s National College of Engineering (NCE) in 2022 as a Teaching Assistant and currently serves as a Lecturer, contributing to engineering education and the academic development of future civil engineers.
To strengthen her professional and instructional competencies, Ms. Dahal completed a six-day Training of Trainers (ToT) program provided by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). She also completed three months of online training through the Global Sanitation Graduate School (GSGS) Project at the School of Engineering, Kathmandu University, in collaboration with IHE Delft, the Netherlands, and with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USA.
Her academic background, professional engineering experience, and teaching career reflect her commitment to advancing engineering education and contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure.
