Kishor Kumar Adhikari (Ph.D.) received a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2016 for his specialization in gallium arsenide-based integrated passive device technology and its application in microwave-based sensors. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering and head of the Research and Development Unit at the National College of Engineering (NCE), Tribhuvan University.
Before joining NCE, Dr. Adhikari undertook a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Canada 2021 to 2022. He was also a postdoctoral research fellow at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, from 2017 to 2019 and at Kwangwoon University, South Korea, from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Adhikari has authored/co-authored more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and two issued research patents. He received the Brain Korea 21 research assistant fellowship and the best student paper award at the London IEEE MTT-S IMWS-Bio 2014 conference. Dr. Adhikari’s research focus on semiconductor microfabrication, nanotechnology, microwave theory and techniques, antenna sensors, wearable sensors, and flexible electronics for communication and sensing applications.
