Er. Subash Panday is a Computer Engineer and Associate Professor at the National College of Engineering (NCE). He graduated from NCE with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Computer Engineering and obtained his ME in Computer Engineering from Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), Pokhara University.
Er. Panday began his academic career at the National College of Engineering as a Teaching Assistant and has progressed to his current position as Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, NCE. He has over ten years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and five years of teaching experience at the master’s level. He has extensive teaching experience in various Computer Engineering and Computer Science subjects, including Computer Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Graphics and Animation, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, and Analysis of Algorithms (AOA).
He is also actively involved in higher education as a visiting faculty member for the Master of Computer Science program at Lincoln International College, Taylor’s University, Malaysia, CITE College, Purbanchal University, and Nepal Open University (NOU).
His academic and research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Cybersecurity. He has supervised master’s-level theses and undergraduate major and minor projects in these areas. He has also served as a peer reviewer for various international conferences and academic journals. Mr. Panday has authored and co-authored numerous research papers published in reputed journals and conferences, including IEEE, NJSE, and InJET. His research paper titled “Image Steganography Approach Based Ant Colony Optimization with Triangular Chaotic Map” was awarded Best Paper at the IEEE International Conference on Innovative Practices in Technology and Management (ICIPTM) 2020. He also presented his research paper at the 2nd International Academic Conference hosted by Seoul Christian University, South Korea, on June 5, 2026.
