Er. Shamsher Kumar Singh is currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at National College of Engineering. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IOE Purwanchal Campus (ERC) and went on to earn his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Distributed Generation from IOE Pashchimanchal Campus (WRC). With over six years of dedicated experience in higher education, his academic journey is centered on bridging core theoretical principles with practical engineering solutions.
His research expertise focuses on modern energy advancements, particularly in Microgrids, Adaptive Droop Control strategies, and Renewable Energy Integration. Passionate about empowering the next generation of engineers, he is committed to advancing sustainable power solutions through academic research, interactive mentorship, and hands-on laboratory instruction.
