Er. Suroj Burlakoti is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at National College of Engineering. With over a decade of academic and professional experience, he has been actively involved in engineering education, academic leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring undergraduate engineering students in the field of electronics, communication, and emerging technologies.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from KFA Business School affiliated with Lincoln University, an M.Sc. in Information and Communication Engineering from Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National College of Engineering. His academic and research interests include machine learning, wireless communication systems, embedded technologies, artificial intelligence, and applied engineering research.

Throughout his professional journey, he has contributed to several innovative engineering projects and published research in areas including antenna design, deep learning applications, NLP, and smart monitoring systems. He is also a winner of the NASA International Space Apps Challenge Kathmandu 2016 and has completed multiple professional certifications in machine learning, technical writing, digital marketing, and training development, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.
